Something new for 2012.
Are you stuck in a rut, do you tend to procrastinate, would you like to try something new?
The Fisherman’s Retreat will be hosting the first ever Inspiration & Reinvention Group meeting in the North West of England. IRG was the brainchild of Debbie Arnold, actress and inspirational speaker. The meetup groups began in London and have been a great success helping people to fulfill their potential and live abundant lives. There have also been meetings held in Spain and now other parts of the UK.
The Fisherman’s will hold the first meeting for the North West region on Thursday 12th January from 7pm, and the cost is only 10 English pounds per person!
Whats more amazing is the fact that this event will be attended by inspirational speaker Roslyn Bell from Belfast and Law of Attraction Transformational Teacher and Feng Shui Master Marie Diamond, plus the founder, Debbie Arnold.
This is a wonderful opportunity and there are only 30 spaces available as this is a small group event.

We're now the Gold Whisky Bar of the World
The Fisherman’s has gained the accolade of Gold Whisky Bar of the World with the prestigious Whisky Magazine. Described as having one of the ‘best collections of single malt whisky in the world’ The Fisherman’s was the only bar in England outside of London, to have gained the Gold Award.

Your hosts are Hervey Magnall, owner of The Fisherman’s Retreat, and ‘uncle’ Ken Leach, close family friend and local whisky expert. Occasionally, we have guest speakers from the whisky industry. We invite you to join us at The Fisherman’s Retreat on one, or all, of our famous whisky tasting evening adventures.
The Evening Includes:
- A ‘taste tour’ through six fine single malt whiskies
- A bagpipe player heralding the entrance of your traditional Haggis, Neeps and Tatties supper
- The evening is ended by a charity auction, with all proceeds raised donated to Bury Hospice
