On Friday 22nd January from 7.00pm we invite you to join us and celebrate the life of Robert Burns, Scotland’s most famous poet.
Upon arrival you will be greeted with a dram of whisky, selection of Scottish themed canapés along with a bottle of single malt whisky on your table to share at your leisure, shortly after your arrival you will hear the unmistakable sounds of bag pipes, heralding the entrance of the haggis.
Special guest John Campbell, president of The Fauldhouse & Crofthead Burns club will chair the proceedings and start the evening with The Selkirk grace, followed by the famous Robert Burn’s poem ‘Address to a haggis’.
Whilst enjoying your Scottish themed 3 course meal you will be entertained once again by The Northenden Pipe Band.
Shortly after John Campbell will present the immortal memory address of Robert Burns, then the evening will conclude with a tasting of two single malt whiskies.
You will also have the chance of winning some fantastic ‘whisky themed’ raffle prizes in aid of Bury hospice.
